Ilsa &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacheez.com\/\">The Nacheez Lady<\/a>&#8221; Hess shows you how fun and easy it is to make your own probiotic, rejuvalac, and use it to easily age vegan cheeses.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>We will make a selection of delicious aged vegan cheeses including:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>\u2022 Rejuvelac (used to age cheeses)<br \/>\n\u2022 Cashew Cream Cheese<br \/>\n\u2022 Ch\u00e8vre<br \/>\n\u2022 Herbed Ch\u00e8vre<br \/>\n\u2022 Lox-Flavored Cream Cheese<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>There will also be a discussion about cooked cheeses such as Brie, Camembert and Pepperjack.<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>These cheese recipes come from Miyoko Schinner\u2019s cookbook \u201cArtisan Vegan Cheese\u201d and \u201cThe Non-Dairy Evolution Cookbook\u201d by Skye Michael Conrad.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A selection of homemade vegan cheeses will be available for tasting including all of the cheeses we will be making. I will also have a vegan butter made without palm oil for people to sample and the recipe to take home.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Cost: $15 for dues-paying SVS members* and $18 for non-members.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>* Not a member yet (Meetup doesn&#8217;t count)?
